Welcome towww.Make-Your-Own-Price-Charts.comThis website is still under constructionThe theme will be: Creating your own price charts with technical indicators on your pc, using a spreadsheet application. If you're interested in trading Stocks, Commodities, FOREX or Options on any of these, and you'd rather understand how to make your own price charts than to spend money on charting software, you've come to the right place. This site is for the "techno-geeks" out there: those of you who understand simple math, perhaps have done some programming in the past, know the basics of using a spreadsheet like Excel (I will be using the free clone GNUMERIC here), and who want to "roll your own" technical indicators so that you have complete control in defining every parameter. The goal, of course, is to create a group of highly-refined indicators that will help you make trading decisions based on your own trading system, eliminating as much as the gut-feeling and guesswork (i.e., emotion) as possible. You may be wondering why there are price charts at the right of the page, if I'm advocating "rolling your own." Well, I'm advocating rolling your own so that you have complete control over the creation of specialized technical indicators like moving averages, oscillators, etc. But I also wanted to provide you with quick-glance price charts on a few of the major commodities and other markets so that you would not have to search the net trying to find it.... More pages to come on which I'll try to post a collection of price graphs and quotes for your convenience.
The site will also provide you with links promoting computer- and
trading-related software products, courses and newsletters. Also, feel free to click on the ads on either side of the page... you're sure to find something interesting if trading stocks, futures, FOREX or options runs in your blood ;-) Thanks, and come back soon!
